New business models and competition in the legal sector have caused lawyers to update and rely on other disciplines to do their work better, offer greater value to their clients and reduce costs.
This same competition has made lawyers come out of their shells and train in disciplines that are almost unlikely to be found in law school curricula (at least in Latin America).
One of those disciplines is definitely marketing. In fact, it is already very common to see lawyers very active on social networks, doing lives, publishing content constantly and generating value for their audience.
But not everyone is on that wavelength even though they should be.
Let’s look at it this way, there is too much competition in the legal sector so how are we going to differentiate ourselves, how are we going to stand out? Success stories and references are not enough, we have to show it to the world.
The same thing happens with sales, if a lawyer is very good at what he does, but he does not know how to sell or rather sell himself, the competition will catch up with him. It’s that simple!
That is why my main objective is to help my fellow lawyers stand out, generate visibility and obtain prospects and clients through marketing.

Lawyers have always managed their legal affairs using project management, but they have done so in a disorganized way and without a methodology that allows them to measure results and consequently improve. September, 2023 – Last September I had the pleasure of giving the conference ”Demystifying Legal Project Management: a comprehensive look” to the membership of the Project Management Institute, Puebla Chapter. In it I talked about the challenges of implementing the discipline and the future of the legal profession.
TRAINING: PEÑOLES INDUSTRIES NOW HAVE 8 NEW LEGAL PROJECT PROFESSIONALS
November, 2023 – The internal corporate legal department of Peñoles Industries shifted their practice to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. I provided successful legal project management training to their team, certifying 8 new lawyers as legal project practitioners from the International Institute of Legal Project Management. I am sure that the team will achieve great things.

Masterclass – Legal Project Management and its benefits with FREE certificate
